Duppy (Techno & Electronica)
Duppy is the name I use for my solo electronica, techno, and other stuff. The name comes from a Jamacian term for ghost, made famous by the Bob Marley song 'Duppy Conquerer'. I used to do quite a lot of stuff from around 1997-2003, mostly rather cheesy. But hey it was fun!

One of my favorite duppy songs is called Beetleman, a ridiculous song about a half-man half-beetle hybrid. It features the vocal talents of Mat Magill & Richard Wadsworth, and has a cheesy techno backing by me. It was once featured in a pantomime production by Bristol University's pantomime society, and also appeared on the cover CD of an edition of 'Computer Music' magazine.
There are now three different versions of the song, the original, the horny remix (mixed in with a reggae version of 'close to me' by the cure), and a version by Pond Life, another of my bands.
I also used to do a few remixes, including a techno version of the backstreet's boys song 'I want it that way', and a mashup of eminem, the beastie boys and others to the tune of 'reach for the stars' by S Club 7 (I told you it was cheesy!).
